Mr. Sunshine Season 1 Episode 1

Mr. Sunshine Season 1 Episode 1 can be watched on Wednesday at 9:31pm EST on WABC (ABC) TV channel. Title of the brand new episode is: Pilot. Synopsis of the episode is: Ben spends his 40th birthday trying to get rid of a hockey rink that won't melt, looking for an elephant lost in the building, and trying to fix a PR nightmare; Alice ends her casual relationship with Ben.
Mr. Sunshine is an American television series for the ABC network. The single-camera comedy was co-created by Matthew Perry, who also stars in the series. ABC started airing the series during the 2010-11 television season as a midseason replacement. It began airing in the US on February 9, 2011 at 9:30 pm.
Ben Donovan (Perry) is the sports arena manager for the Sunshine Center, a second-tier arena in San Diego. He goes through a mid-life crisis when he turns 40, while dealing with the unusual demands of his job and his unpredictable boss.
Mr. Sunshine is based on a concept by Matthew Perry, which Perry himself planned to co-write, star in and executive produce. The highly sought-after project sparked a bidding war among the networks, with ABC landing the comedy in October 2009. The deal came with hefty penalties if the pilot did not make it to series. Perry teamed with Sony writers Alex Barnow and Marc Firek to pen the script.
A green-light to produce the pilot came from ABC in early January 2010. Thomas Schlamme, of Shoe Money Productions, will direct the half-hour pilot. Perry, Schlamme, and co-writers Barnow and Firek were all listed as executive producers for the pilot, along with Jamie Tarses of FanFare Productions.
Casting began in late January, with Allison Janney as the first actor added to the cast as Ben's boss. In February, Andrea Anders was tapped as Ben's "friend with benefits," and Nate Torrence brought on board to play Roman, the son of Ben's boss. The casting of Portia Doubleday as Ben's assistant, and James Lesure as an ex-basketball star, was announced at the end of April.
In May 2010, ABC picked up the pilot for the 2010-2011 television season. Tarses and Schlamme will serve as executive producers for the series.

The show has been noted for its revolving cast over the years. Its first season starred George Dzundza as Detective Sergeant Max Greevey, Chris Noth as Mike Logan, Dann Florek as Captain Donald Cragen, Michael Moriarty as Executive Assistant District Attorney Ben Stone, Richard Brooks as Assistant District Attorney Paul Robinette and Steven Hill as District Attorney Adam Schiff. After several cast shuffles, its final season starred Jeremy Sisto as Detective Cyrus Lupo, Anthony Anderson as Detective Kevin Bernard, S. Epatha Merkerson as Lieutenant Anita Van Buren, Linus Roache as Executive Assistant District Attorney Michael Cutter, Alana de la Garza as Assistant District Attorney Connie Rubirosa and Sam Waterston as District Attorney Jack McCoy.
The success of the series has led to the creation of additional shows within the Law & Order franchise, a television film, several video games, and international adaptations of the series. It has won and been nominated for numerous awards over the years, including a number of Emmy Awards. On May 14, 2010, NBC announced that it had cancelled Law & Order and would air the final episode on May 24, 2010.
Immediately following the show's cancellation, Wolf stated that he was attempting to find a new home for the series, and would also consider a "last resort" plan to conclude the show with a two-hour TV film to air on NBC. In July 2010, however, he indicated that those attempts have failed and declared that the series had now "moved to the history books".

Modern Family Season 2 Episode 14

Modern Family Season 2 Episode 14 can be watched on Wednesday at 9:00pm EST on WABC (ABC) TV channel.
Title of the brand new episode is: Bixby's Back. Synopsis of the episode is: Claire and Phil decide to reprise their role-playing adventure from the previous year; Jay's elaborate Valentine's surprise for Gloria keeps getting held up; an admirer comes between Cameron and Mitchell.
Modern Family is an award-winning American comedy television series. The half-hour series, which was created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, is produced by 20th Century Fox Television and largely presented in a mockumentary style. The story follows the families of Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill), his daughter Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen), and his son Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) who live in a Los Angeles-area suburban community. Claire is a homemaker mom married to Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell); they have three children. After splitting with his longtime wife, Jay has re-married with a much younger Colombian woman, Gloria Pritchett (Sofía Vergara), and is helping her raise her pre-teen son, Manny Delgado (Rico Rodriguez). Mitchell and his partner Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) have adopted a Vietnamese baby, Lily Pritchett-Tucker.
Lloyd and Levitan had developed the series while talking about stories from their own "modern families." They pitched the show to CBS, NBC, and ABC, which accepted it and picked it up. It became ABC's first comedy series with a mockumentary style. The series premiered on September 23, 2009 to critical acclaim and was watched by 12.61 million viewers. Early on it was named as a big contender for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. Soon after the series was picked up for a full season on October 8, 2009. On January 12, 2010, Modern Family was renewed for a second season by ABC.
The series has received mostly positive reviews from critics and received multiple award nominations. In 2010, following its first season, it won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, as well as two other Emmy Awards, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Eric Stonestreet, and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd. The syndication rights to the show have also been sold to USA Network and 10 Fox affiliates for a fall 2013 premiere. The producers reportedly sold the show for close to $1.5 million per episode. On January 10, 2011, Modern Family was renewed for a third season.
While working in the office Lloyd and Levitan were telling stories about their family and they thought that could be a show idea, and started working around the idea of a families being observed in a mockumentary style show. They then later decided it would be a show about three families and their experiences. The show was originally called My American Family. Originally the camera crew would be run by a fictitious Dutch filmmaker named Geert Floortje who had lived with Jay's family as a teenage exchange student and developed a crush on Claire (while Mitchell had a crush on him), but decided against it. The creators pitched it to three of the four major networks (they did not pitch it to Fox due to problems Lloyd had with the network with previous shows). CBS, not ready to use the single-camera style of filming, nor ready to make another large commitment, did not accept the series. NBC, already having two shows of similar style (mockumentary), The Office and Parks and Recreation, decided against accepting the series until the success of the other two series decreases. ABC, like CBS, had mixed feelings about using the single-camera style, but eventually accepted the series.
The series quickly became a priority for ABC after the pilot episode tested high with focus groups, resulting in the network ordering 13 episodes and adding it to the 2009–2010 fall lineup days ahead of ABC's official schedule announcement. The series was given a full season pickup on October 8, 2009. On January 12, 2010, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson announced that Modern Family had been renewed for a second season. A third season was ordered by ABC on January 10, 2011.
The series was also picked up for syndication by USA during the first season for 1.5 million dollars and to 10 Fox affiliates during the second season.
